Keynote

It is our pleasure to announce that our keynote speaker is Professor Joel Christensen of Brandeis University.

Professor Christensen is an expert in Homeric epic and a scholar and critic who has worked, especially through , to expand the world of Classics scholarship outside the classroom. He is the author of numerous books on Homer and epic including StoryLife: On Epic, Narrative, and Living Things (Yale University Press 2025).
